Psychological Awareness starts with the knowledge of 4D's

Let’s find it out here………..

There are 4D’s that can help you identify what being fine means. These are:

Distress

Distress is a physical or psychological discomfort. It can be painful for the person. Distress does not mean someone is abnormal but it shows discomfort.

Deviance

Deviance refers to a change from how one was initially or before a particular incident happened. It is not a positive kind of change but a negative one. Deviance can be moving away from the norms of culture, acceptable behaviors, values, customs, attitudes, beliefs etc.

Dysfunction

Dysfunction is the disturbance in your thought, emotions or behavior. This affects a person's day to day functioning.

Danger

Danger refers to any possibility of harm to the person or others around them.

If you notice that you are experiencing any two or more of these signs, it is important to take care of your mental health. You can initiate conversations with people close to you or seek professional help.
